This fabulous facility owned by the Marton Arts and Crafts Society Incorporated is an amazing place. It is a hugely valuable asset for the Marton Com- munity and we wish to invite anyone interested in participating at the centre to come and check us out. We're kicking back into gear in time to sup- port the Vero Inter- national Vintage Car Rally with displays of works from members and the Arts Centre will be open to the public tomorrow and then again Tuesday to Thursday from 10am until 2pm. The Rangitikei Country Quilters will also have their members' works on display. Our enrolment day for all groups and classes is being held Saturday, January 28. It will be staged from 10am till 2pm. All new members welcome. Classes available are tutored term by term and our groups are for skilled or those knowl- edgeable in their crafts to meet, socialise and share skills. If you wish to learn a craft we encourage you to complete a class of learning before you join a group as these are not teaching sessions. Term one classes are porcelain decorating with Sue McClelland, painting for beginners with Richard Cotgrove, patchwork with Andrea Death, weaving (fort- nightly) with Pam MacLachlan pottery with Lorraine Barnett. Dates and times are all available on enrol- ment day, via email at info@martonarts andcrafts.co.nz or visit martonartsand crafts.co.nz .
